Hi, I'm Ady!

I've always enjoyed walking, although admittedly when I was younger it was more about necessity than views! 😂

As the years have gone by, I have done occasional long walks in obscure places like formula 1 circuits...and does walking around a festival count?🤪

In 2019 I got Flossie and my walking intensified.

Flossie is an Australian Kelpie crossed with a Border Collie - both of these breeds are working dogs which means that Flossie requires plenty of exercise!

During the week we go on 2 hour-long walks daily, saving the big adventures for the weekends.

Flossie can certainly handle it more than I can! 🤣

After meeting Meg in 2022, our adventures went to a whole other level.

As a teenager I tried to travel as much as possible and loved a last minute deal!

I am quite good at finding a cheap flight and Meg and I try to leave the country at least 3 times a year.

My favourite countries to visit are France and Latvia, but we have plenty more adventures to come.

I have been vegetarian for over 20 years so eating out has never been easy.

Since meeting Meg I have decided to go gluten-free.

Meg has Coeliac Disease which means that the smallest amount of gluten can make her seriously ill and cause long term health issues in the future.

Deciding to go gluten-free to avoid the risks to her was an easy decision.

This does however make eating out even harder and finding a gluten-free vegetarian option can often feel impossible.

I hope that this website helps like-minded people enjoy adventures as much as we do.
