A lovely short walk to see the outside of the castle from pretty much every angle.
Towards the end of the walk, the AllTrails route takes you through a couple of fields, eventually reaching a couple of main roads to cross. Personally we wouldn't recommend this route, as the roads were very fast and hard to cross (luckily a kind driver waved us across).
The alternative option would be to follow the road opposite the Mill straight back to the car, which would make this about a 20 minute walk.

I particularly liked this walk because of all of the opportunities to have a paddle. It wasn't very nice trying to cross the busy roads though ☹
