Ady & Meg.

This place is a must stay for when visiting Pembrokeshire.

Location-wise it is only around a 10 minute walk Lydstep beach and 15 minute drive to Tenby.

We parked our car in the shared car park and went in search of our Shepherds Hut. As we walked through the field of Yurts, we felt a little disappointed that it wasn't feeling as private / off the grid as we usually prefer.

However, this Shepherds Hut was actually phenomenal!

There was a huge amount of storage - two big drawers under the bed and a small cleaning cupboard at the head of the bed. On the other side was a decent-sized pantry cupboard in addition to cupboards for the kitchenette itself.

It was so spacious in fact that we felt it would be incredibly easy to spend more than just a weekend here.

Admittedly the bathroom was very small (and it is to be expected) but for what was lost there the rest of the Shepherds Hut certainly made up for.

Due to our timings, we only got to use the Hut Tub on one evening.

Warming it up didn't take too long (1.5 -2.5 hours) but from previous experience there is a fine art to how much wood you should put on the burner (for this one we seemed to put too much and it got a bit too hot! 🥵)

The area around the Shepherds Hut was not enclosed or fully private, however there was a shield at the back of the hot tub (meaning only people in the huts in front of us could see us.)

There were a couple of loungers and a wooden picnic bench outside of the Shepherds Hut - it was great to sit outside whilst the weather was kind to us.

Flossie.

We were so close to the beach - We went there on the first evening and I absolutely loved being able to play in the sea.

The glampsite was really nice with plenty of grass and even some left long for the wildlife (and I like chasing bees 😂)

Unfortunately I had to keep my harness on most of the time as there were no fences to keep me secure.

Sleeping here was also fun. I had my bed under the table in the Shepherds Hut. And although there were fireworks on one of the nights, I felt comfortable and secure under it.

This gets a high five paw from me.
