Ady & Meg.
This was our favourite walk of the weekend! Following a very slight panic when google maps told us to drive down a footpath to the car park (?!), we parked up in a nearby viewpoint car park and couldn't believe how fantastic the views were from there.
We then embarked on our hike, and were impressed at how few people we saw (considering how close we were to the tourist trap which is Durdle Door!). The route has some undeniable inclines and declines (so a good level of fitness is required) but your efforts will be rewarded with more amazing coastal views, especially on a sunny day.
The route also visits (and parks at, if you succeed in finding the carpark...) Dorset's 'lost' village, Tyneham. It was evacuated in WWII and has been deserted ever since. The area was needed for military training, but after the war ended the villagers were not allowed to return...
Flossie.
I enjoyed this walk, but favourite part was dipping my paws in the sea 🐾
