Ady & Meg.
We were pleased to find this pub recommended for coeliacs on social media - there didn't seem to be many options in the area.
As always, we contacted the pub in advance to check their procedures, and they seemed to have a very good understanding of how to avoid cross contamination. Despite putting on our booking that we were both coeliac and vegetarian, we were concerned to find only one gluten free and vegetarian option on the menu (which changes frequently). We discussed with the waitress, who consulted the kitchen and came back to tell us that the burgers could be made gluten free (not labelled as GF alternative on the menu). We even got gluten free onion rings with them - perfect!
Overall we had a nice (and safe!) meal here, but we hope that the chef will consider adding more gluten free and vegetarian items to the menu in future!

I was pleased to be welcome in here (dogs are only allowed in part of the pub, so be sure to add your furry friend to your booking!)
