We visited Appledore as we had a bit of spare time between other activities. The walk was very easy (which is what we needed) but we can't say we were particularly wowed by the views. We completed the loop clockwise, and had to return around and follow the original route towards the end as the route passed through a field of horses.
This is a great option if you are in the area looking for a flat walk with easy parking.
