Carreg Cennen Castle is built on a hill, resulting in amazing views both from it and of it. Once we had parked up, we headed to the cafe to purchase tickets (these are needed for the castle, but not if you only want to do the circular walk). Unfortunately we found the staff member to be pretty rude and unwelcoming, but we weren't overly surprised by this having read reviews from others.
We spent around an hour looking around the castle, admiring the views and heading down to the cave. Following this, we set off on the AllTrails walk detailed above where there were views of the castle from afar for most of the route. We visited after a period of rain so much of the route was incredibly muddy.

I enjoyed exploring the castle and was pleased to find plenty of sticks and water to paddle in on the walk.
