Considering Italy is usually so good for coeliacs, we were surprised at how limited Venice appeared to be. We were thrilled to find this completely gluten free shop and the owner was super lovely!
The shop was filled with all sorts of packaged goodies, some of which aren't available at home in the UK. That said, unfortunately it didn't really have what we were really looking for...
What Venice is really missing is easy 'on the go' / picnic food (which we would typically pick up from a gluten free bakery), so we were hoping that this shop would fill that gap. Instead it had a lot of packaged food which required cooking, and unfortunately we didn't have access to a kitchen.
If you are staying in an Airbnb / self catering accommodation with access to a kitchen, this shop would be a must visit!
