No trip to Pisa is complete without seeing The Leaning Tower of Pisa! Admittedly most impressive from the outside, we still recommend that you take the time to climb it as you really do feel that lean as you climb the spiral staircase!
As with all tourist attractions, it does get busy, but there is a large amount of grass close to it meaning it is fairly easy to get photos without photo bombers being too distracting!
We visited early in the morning to try to avoid the crowds and were even treated to a dramatic sunrise!
