If you would like to see Stonehenge for free - this is the walk for you!
Admittedly you can't get quite as close to the stones as the paying customers, nor can you walk all the way around the stones. However, there is just a low fence separating the free and paid-for access and you get the added bonus of seeing the stones appear in the distance as you make your way over from Woodhenge.
We really enjoyed this walk, seeing Stonehenge, Woodhenge and the Cuckoo stone.
