Ady & Meg.
In our opinion, this is the prettiest monument in the city. During our few days in Rome we made several short detours to visit here - Each time was just as breathtaking as the first. Our favourite view was at night, when the fountain was all lit up.
However, being a free activity, this place was ALWAYS busy.
Whilst there, make sure you replicate the film "Three coins in the fountain" - The myth says that if you throw in one coin: you will return to Rome. If you throw in two coins: you will fall in love with an attractive Italian. If you throw three coins: you will marry the person that you met.
This is a fantastic free activity, but if you do have time you could pay for a tour of the water city underneath the fountain (we did not get the opportunity to do this).
Flossie.
I wasn't invited on this adventure 😕
