Ady & Meg.
This is one of Ady's favourite places in Paris. Not only is the outside iconic with it's glass pyramids surrounded by the architecture of the former Palace, the inside is just as beautiful. Here you will find room after room dedicated to priceless art, former crown jewels and rooms left as they once were.
Within the art collection housed here is Aphrodite (better known as The Venus de Milo), Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa and Winged Victory of Samothrace representing the 'Goddess Nike' (victory).
Heading back outside is a lovely place to see both sunrise and sunset and The Lourve itself lights up when it gets dark until 11pm.
Whilst here, be sure not to miss the 'Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel' which was built by Emperor Napoleon I.
Flossie.
I wasn't invited on this adventure 😕
