We visited this castle for free as part of the National Trust Free Autumn Pass Scheme, and absolutely loved it! The grounds are stunning at any time of year, but as we were visiting in October we got to see the Autumn colour at it's best. From the Italianate Terrances you have views over the gardens, deer park and the Breidden Hills.
The inside of this 13th century castle was equally as beautiful, but photos are prohibited inside the castle.
