Ady & Meg.
We'll warn you now, Durdle Door is a tourist trap - if you head here on a nice day, you can expect to find this place absolutely crawling with people. Unless you are a newcomer to our blog (in which case, welcome! 😀) you will know by now that this is definitely not our scene - so we decided to visit at 7am on a windy Monday in October. This may make you wince, but we only saw 2 other people on the beach, and in our opinion it made for a much better experience.
After visiting Durdle Door, we continued with the route up to Lulworth Cove, again seeing very few people. There had been a landslide half way across the beach, so in order to continue with our route we had to scramble over the rocks. This was fairly easy, but the next scramble up the cliff from the beach was a lot trickier, mostly because it was very muddy and slippery - definitely not for the faint hearted / those not willing to get a bit of mud on them!
Overall this was a great walk with fantastic views - definitely recommended!

I enjoyed this walk because I got to play in the sea!
