Meg.
I was so excited (and relieved!) to find a completely gluten free stall in Cardiff Centre, so that I could easily refuel during a busy day shopping.
The stall is located in The Cardiff Market, which was very busy when we visited at lunchtime on a Saturday. Although this stall did not offer the variety that I have been spoilt with at other gluten free bakeries/cafes, there was still plenty to choose from. For lunch I opted for the cheese, tomato and pesto focaccia (which was served warm) and a blueberry blondie (the gooiest blondie I have ever eaten), and then I took a double chocolate cookie to eat at home.
Being a market stall, there of course wasn't any seating, so we took our goodies to eat on a bench in the small park opposite the market. The food was lovely and a great (and safe!) 'food on the go' option for coeliacs.
Flossie.
I was not invited on this adventure ☹
