Ady & Meg.

We visited this restaurant whilst on a day trip from Venice to the Dolomites. This day was incredibly difficult to plan for as we weren't sure where the excursion would stop for lunch, and unfortunately we had been unable to pick up any form of 'picnic food' in Venice.

This restaurant saved the day (foodwise - The Dolomites would have still been stunning even if we had been starving! 😂). Meg emailed them in advance on the off-chance that we might be able to drop-in, and they confirmed that they served coeliac-safe gluten free pizza. Unfortunately on the day they weren't serving pizza at all (not even the muggle-kind) but the staff were confidently able to identify other items which were coeliac safe - we opted for polenta with cheese sauce and mushrooms and Ady had a gluten free beer.

The inside of the restaurant was quirky and most importantly warm (there was thick snow outside) and we found the staff to be helpful and welcoming.

Obviously as always, please use your own judgement - this is a restaurant which contains gluten and we completely appreciate that it's often the staff member that you deal with who makes the experience. On this occasion, we were very satisfied customers.

Flossie.

I was not invited on this adventure ☹
